Welcome to our website !

Looking for ways to earn extra money to help build your savings account or to help pay some bills? Check out FindFocusGroups.com, where you will get paid for participating in legitimate focus groups conducted by various marketing companies.

From the website:
"Our team gathers focus groups from around the web and works directly with some of the top market research firms to bring you legitimate paid focus group opportunities.
Since we started in 2006, we have listed over 27,500 legitimate focus group opportunities and worked with virtually every market research firm in the United States. FindFocusGroups has been featured on: The Today Show, Women's Health, Reader's Digest, CNN.com, and Careerbuilder.com!"

FindFocusGroups.com researches and lists hundreds of legitimate focus groups that are looking for participants. You can search for focus groups and research studies coming up in your city, and apply to the ones that interest you. It may take a few steps to determine if you qualify, but if you have some extra time to spare, and apply for different studies, it can increase your chances of qualifying for one or more.

When you do qualify for a focus group, you will be paid a pre-determined amount after completing the study. Some surveys may be completed online, while other research/marketing focus groups will be held at designated locations. How much you get paid and the method of payment will vary according to the company conducting the study. But just by browsing the site, it looks like most surveys are paying between $10-$200.

It is definitely worth bookmarking this site and checking back often as they post about 25 and 45 new focus group studies every weekday, with most being added on Mondays.

A word of caution: even though the company is committed to posting only researched, verified and legitimate paying surveys, they warn that you should never give your Social Security number or bank account number to anyone claiming to be doing market research. They also advise users to use their best judgment when they give out information, sharing only information that you are comfortable giving.

I came across Postloop just a couple of weeks ago,but I have already made over $60 this month (October.)

What is Postloop?

Postloop is a paid forum exchange where you Earn Money Posting comments and answers to other poster's questions.

Pretty simple!

If you already visit forums, say a How to Work From Home forum, then you already are posting and joining in, right? You answer posts from other users, and you start threads-ask your own questions, etc.

That is what you do at Postloop.

But you get paid to do it!
We can do all we can to stretch those dollars every week, but as we probably have all wondered at one point or another, how can I save money when there is no money to save at the end of the week? Maybe we have successfully made it through yet another week and tightened up our budgets to pay that electric bill,  pay the sign up fees for Little League, or pay the Vet. You know what I mean....there are always expenses that pop up on a weekly/daily basis that make actual saving money tough if not impossible.

So I thought I'd throw in a few ideas from time to time on ways to make a little extra money that could actually be saved --in other words, put away and never touched. Or, be there for that next unexpected expense that comes up....like that tutu your 4 year old daughter wants so badly. Just saying.

I came across a website recently --some of you may already know of it-- called Emerging Cast. It is not going to make you rich, nor pay too many bills, but it might help you out with that tutu. Basically you write fairly short articles on the websites template (sort of like "how-to tutorials" ) and when the article is accepted (you may get asked to do minor revisions first...and maybe not,) you get paid.

Once you sign up with Emerging Cast, you immediately have access to their list of writing assignments to choose from. There are a million categories (okay...I exaggerate,) to choose from such as parenting, sports, health, food, drinks, etc. Each category has a long list of available writing assignments (such as, how to remove a hickey. I kid you not.). Claim the assignment, write it and submit.

Sounds pretty good so far, you are thinking? It is a way to make some extra cash each month, but here is the part you may or may not like--most articles I have seen are paying $2. Yep, I did warn you that this will not be a 'get rich' thing, didn't I? But before you shake your head at me, think about it. 20 minutes to write up a short "how to" can mean $2 in your account. Write one article a day and that is $60 at the end of the month. If you just do nothing with that money...that would be $720/year. And of course, you may decide to write more than one article a day. (You just have to write the first, get it accepted, before they let you take on more assignments.)

So there is my "way to make some extra money" idea for this week. Do with it what you may. If you decide to check it out, go to www.emergingcast.com. (and this is not me trying to make a dollar of you as an affiliate,.... I am not an affiliate or anything like that . Notice the absence of links to click?) Just tossing out an idea on this Saturday for anyone sitting at home wondering how to make an extra buck or two, literally, in their spare time!

Happy Saturday!

Everyone seems to be on the same page these days--trying to save money in this very blue economy we are in.

Saving money by doing things like cutting back on purchases, growing your own veggies and such, eating out way less (or not at all?), carpooling, walking instead of driving, using coupons, etc. are all good choices right now. But what about making some extra money ? Working outside of he home, or getting a second job may not be feasible for everyone, so what ways can we make extra income from home?

1. Sell Your Extra Books.
You can go online to cash4books and make some extra money selling your books you are done with. Cash4books will buy textbooks, audio books, soft cover books, hard cover books and they even pay shipping costs. All you need to do is enter the ISBN code to find out if Cash4Books will buy it.

2. Visit Half.com and list and sell DVDs and video games. You can list easier and not pay listing fees like with eBay. Even though Half.com is a part of eBay, it is easier to get used to. They reimburses most of your shipping costs, collect the money from buyers for you, and pays out twice a month via paypal.

3. Save all those pennies in your pockets every night in a jar. Pick up pennies you find on the street and under couch cushions. All that extra change will add up. And you can take that extra change straight to your nearest Coinstar machine and cash your coins in. You do pay a small counting fee, but if you opt for a gift card instead, the fee is waived. Either way that change can be a great way to bring in some extra money!

4, And if you have not checked out Etsy before, do it now! That is one of the best sites ever to sell your creations. From knitting to gift baskets to eclectic decorations you make, you can sell your handmade items on etsy! Browse around and get inspired. Many people swear by etsy for selling their wares. Whatever your hobby is-- jewelry making, crocheting, painting , soap-making, or whatever, use your it to make money on etsy.
