If you smell flowers when looking at an item you are not sure if you want to buy or not.....chances are you shouldn't! Manufacturers are getting trickier when it comes to tempting consumers to make purchases they really do not need to.
Turns out, more savvy manufacturers are adding sweet or flowery smells to everyday items. According to the Joural of Consumer Research, scent is one of the best ways to make a product's name and shape linger in your memory-and increase the chances that you'll spend money buying it.
So if it smells too good to resist....all the more reason to walk away and keep your cash in your wallet!
