Here is a quick tip to extend the life of your candles. Freeze them! Yep, freeze your candles for up to 24 hours before burning them. This will make the candles burn more slowly and evenly.

Make your pump soap last longer with this tip. The soap dispensers in the pump soap bottles often dispense more soap than necessary to wash your hands, and kids can really go over board pumping the soap out.
Use a rubber band and loop it until tight, around the base of the pump. the pump then goes down only half way, but still gives an adequate amount of soap. This makes the soap last twice as long.
