Start a babysitting swap with neighbors or friends. Take turns watching the each other's kids on a Saturday night so you can have a date night. Even a date night at home can be fun especially if the kids are gone. A nice dinner with your favorite food, a walk by the beach or just around the neighborhood without kids can be relaxing and romantic, even a drive about town with a stop at an ice cream parlor can be fun when it's just the grown-ups. When it's your turn to watch the kids, keep the night inexpensive as well with homemade pizza and easy entertaining games like charades.
