Pet Food Stamps: Free Help To Pet Owners In Need

The Pet Food Stamps program is a fairly new privately funded nonprofit organization that helps pet owners who are having financial struggles and need help paying for pet food.

Anyone receiving food stamps or is around or below the poverty level may apply. You can go to PetFoodStamps.org. to fill out the online application, and if approved, you can receive free home delivery of pet food and other supplies. it can take up to three weeks to find out if you have been approved, so do not worry if you do not hear back from them right away.

The program is free to those approved, and  pet owners of other small types of animals and some reptiles are able to apply as well (note that applicants must be U.S. citizens to apply.)
